Now I wish to share my knowledge and experience to help others like me. Since then, I have completed many other 50K ultras, timed events and longer ultras. I fell in love with ultra races and the ultra community. I decided to train and try my first 50K because I knew I had the stamina to go the distance. I had been running shorter distances including Half-Marathons and 20K races but I struggled to run faster. When I started running ultra marathons about 8 years ago, I was in my 50’s.
